A 51-square-meter apartment in Krakow's Podgórze district was created for a young couple—an architect and a doctor. The primary task was to completely redesign the unfavorable layout and create a cozy interior with ample storage space. All walls were demolished, enlarging the living area, bathroom, and bedroom. The design's character is defined by custom-made built-ins, a mirrored structure running from the hallway to the living room, veneer, steel, and natural wood. A central column in the kitchen was used to connect the island with the dining table, and the entire space was complemented with vintage furniture. The result is a bright, functional, and refined interior that takes full advantage of the apartment's corner location and its extensive glazing.
