The Mandarin House restaurant in Wrocław was created as a contemporary interpretation of Chinese tradition, intended to attract attention from the street. Inspired by old portals, ornaments, Chinese opera, and the game of Go, whose line and circle motifs recur throughout the interior. Intense red is juxtaposed with light wood, black, and turquoise, complemented by neon lights, lantern-inspired lamps, and openwork partitions. The resulting space is expressive yet intimate, providing a powerful setting for the signature cuisine.
